P.E.T.R.A. is a non-profit organisation which promotes mental health,  creative thinking, self awareness and creativity in educators, adults, youth and children.

It promotes effective communication, the exchange in cultural, social, educational and emotional backgrounds and so the expanding of the professional skills of the acteurs, through structured seminars, workshops and courses.

Experts with years of experience in the fields of primary education, school education, education in the extended sector and lifelong learning have joined forces with multipliers to create a platform for vocational training, networking, a place to learn from eachother.

COURSES FOR EDUCATORS

Their aim is of promoting, advocating and researching cultural and intercultural awareness, effective communication and cooperation between actors from different cultural and social backgrounds and contexts.

Education, training and skills development are an important step towards a better and fairer society in which diversity is embraced.  Culture and art are bridges to help people live and work together in tolerance and mutual respect.

The constant promotion and support of motivated, qualified and competent teachers, head teachers and educators in their further development are prerequisites for successful school life.

For people working in the field of learning, it is essential to deal with the topics of mental health, self-awareness, mindfulness and clearly recognising one's own limits. The courses therefore not only include regular reflection sessions, but also incorporate various methods of mindfulness training.

COURSES FOR CHILDREN

In the courses for children, each individual child is encouraged using various creative media, and the group as a whole works together towards common goals. The participatory approach and the democratic finding of solutions are learnt and internalised in a playful context.
